Prosecutors had recommended a prison sentence of 15 years, an amount of time his lawyers call "a life and death sentence" for the 71-year-old New Jersey Democrat.

Please. The only difference between this and Congress is that they insider trade, which is legal for them and the rest of the branch.

Menendez has been openly and obviously corrupt for almost my entire life this goes back way before Biden. Also, the FBI is supposed to be independent so while I guess as usual they did the bare minimum of not interfering I think they should have forced him out of office long before this.

Sweet. Now Trump will pardon him if he thinks he still has some of the gold.

I am thinking that’s why he freed Dread Pirate Roberts. There are billions in unclaimed BTC wallets going back to his arrest time.

        1. He will if he can get a gold bar out of it.

        2. If Menendez does him a favor or kisses his ass on TV.

        3. Menendezs son, who is in Congress does him a favor.

Look what happened to Snoop Dogg after Trump pardoned his friend.

I think he was blaming his wife to get off on the charges, then she would have done the same thing and blamed him… they were hoping to both get off using this tactic because you can’t be compelled to testify against your spouse. It obviously didn’t work.

Dude had wads of cash and gold bars all throughout his house lol.
