it’s like people think billionaires need to be reminded of something… fuck, can’t quite put my finger on it… maybe i’m distracted…

What I love the most about this is that the picture itself is not specific about who is being killed. The figures in it can be read as Hebrew folk and soybeards just as easily as techbros and billionaires. You could post this on 4chan and the users there would react equally positively. Just pure agnostic advocating for violence seems to be the only thing (online) people can agree on anymore.

tbf it necessitates that those being executed are powerful or influential, not members of the masses. It’s reflective of widespread dissatisfaction with the status quo. The question is simply whether that dissatisfaction is directed towards boogeymen or the actual perpetrators.

I mean, the Hebrew are kind of assumed to be powerful and influential on account of their telepathy and space lasers. I don’t have the slightest idea what a soybeard is.

Point is, anyone who hates anyone tend to believe they are incredibly powerful somehow. The homosexual agenda unleashing chemicals turning the frogs gay and all that. So I’m not sure it really limits people’s interpretation of the comic all that much.
