I’m guessing UK is like a lot of other countries where people have switched to WhatsApp or other proprietary chat systems?
I turned rcs off on my phone it made messaging complete unreliable I was sending messages and be notified it couldn’t be sent hours after the fact.
Works perfectly for me for the last 5 years or so.
Seems to work for nobody in the UK all the recent reviews are one or two stars.
