Today I learned that it is illegal to sell tritium in the us but it is not illegal to buy it in the us…so here is a website selling tritium trinkets that come from taiwan!

They are like glow sticks that last for 10 years, it is perfectly safe unless maybe you were drinking liquid tritium for a few weeks.

      Certainly not.

In fact, no knife or gadget manufacturer has yet seen fit to pay me to shill their stuff. Which is a bummer.

I used to work with someone bearing the last name of “Leatherman.” They similarly lamented their lack of association with the company sharing their name.

The Leatherman tool company is indeed named after its creator’s last name, which is also of course “Leatherman.”

I know we all like to joke about that Tim Apple guy calling the shots and fucking everything up all the time at the iPhone-and-computer company, but the owner and founder of the Leatherman Tool Group is literally Tim Leatherman.

Oh, sure, many companies are named after their founder’s surnames - I didn’t mean to suggest I doubted that. I just meant that the Leatherman I knew was unassociated.

The “Tim” fact is pretty funny. Thank you for the information.
