You’re not going to get rid of the guns, and you’re not going to get rid of crazy people. We need to address gun laws, mental health laws, and societal collapse overall. When people refuse to surrender weapons, what do you suppose the step after that is? Arresting someone for not turning in their weapon; which will lead to several violent encounters. This will create additional loss of life, and I thought that was the problem we need to solve.
