You’re sick in the head if you think being depressed over being labelled an existential threat makes me dangerous.
The issue isn’t with you, it’s with common experiences women have had with men.
And that’s exactly the problem. I’m not those men. I have no intention of acting like those men. Yet I’m still scared that I’m going to get pepper sprayed anyway just for asking a woman for directions.
I am listening, and what I’m hearing is that I, as an innocent person, am a source of terror for someone I’ve never met because of a fact of my biology that I have no control over. I have no ability to change the feelings of someone else, because no matter what, those feelings are only able to be changed by the person feeling them. I can say I’m innocent and not a threat until I’m blue in the face, I can act as non-threatening as I possibly can, I can leave women alone in public. None of that matters because I’m not the one with the power over those feelings.

There are a lot of phrases from reddit that annoy me due to overuse. “Play stupid games, win stupid prizes” and “fuck around and find out” both annoy the absolute piss right out of me now.
Just curious. Proton takes all of that effort out of the equation, plus I’m willing to bet there aren’t as many driver problems, if there are any at all.
My first thought is that this is meant for custom upholstery. If you’re spending $1800 on a single chair, you’re probably willing to shell out another grand or whatever to cover it in fabric that you like.

Yeah, but not as a user-serviceable module that can be replaced with minimal effort. I think you’re grossly oversimplifying this point.
Are you on Windows or Linux on the 16?
Apple doesn’t provide board-level schematics so that anyone with a good supplier and a steady hand with a soldering iron can fix their motherboard, though. You also can’t replace parts nearly as easily, even on older MacBooks. Swappable ports also help, so that if HDMI or displayport get replaced you can change to the new standard.
Accessing the RAM, wifi, and SSD are only 5 screws away, and they give you a screwdriver in the package.
Basically, Framework has provided so much information that you could practically build one from scratch yourself with enough determination and self-loathing.
It’s the final laptop in the same way that Theseus’s boat was the last one he ever bought. You can replace bits piecemeal, but at some point you’ll end up with enough leftovers for a whole new laptop.
That said, I have an Intel one and it’s a fantastic laptop. Also, not only are the motherboards capable of running on their own outside the laptop, but they’ve partnered with Cooler Master to make little cases for them so you can turn old mobos into mini PCs.

It was probably shitty coke, but there was at least one time where my buddy said “yo this is some good stuff” and it still didn’t do it for me. Who knows if it actually was good stuff, though.
Basically, it was in front of me, and I’ve got an unfortunate amount of experience kicking stimulant habits (I was an Adderall kid), so I figured I wasn’t at any particular risk of getting addicted. I tried it a few more times after that and came to the same conclusion, so at this point I don’t think I’ve touched the stuff in over a year.

That’s on you, pal. I don’t feel entitled to anything but the same basic respect I give anyone, man, woman, or otherwise. All I want is not to be looked at as an existential threat just for existing and I really don’t think that’s unreasonable.
