And I believe it will work to some degree on the quarterly focused businesses that are already balls deep in Microsoft’s ecosystem’s. There is an unfathomable amount of win10 systems still in use across the globe and they are fast nearing EOS.

Additionally, you can purchase “parts” bags/kits which are marketed as “repair accessories” for 11+ rd magazines(usually 30 rds for 5.56 and 7.62). These somehow skirt around the law from my understanding. You’re buying the complete mag, but assemble it yourself.

The Battle of Mice records are harrowing (content warning for DV). Made Out of Babies was incredible as well. Same for her work with Cult of Luna. Some really, really unique vocals there.

My personal favorite is the Spylacopa Self Titled record. That album was a great blending of styles and guest artists, but Julie’s work stands out.

Having honest conversations with my partner about this currently.

I’ve been considering a pair of X-reals out of curiosity but they are right at the tipping point for tech I may not use enough to justify the purchase. Even the price drop in the article still isn’t quite enough.

I don’t think its good per se but I can see the value in your point. Especially in regards to it just being a distraction. Everyone is sure honed in a map rename when there’s other more legitimate issues to address.

I grew up waiting tables in the late 90’s - early 00’s. The state I was in had a mandatory 8% tax claim on total sales for the day. So if you did $2000 in food / liquor sales, you had to claim $160 in additional, taxable wages within the time keeping system at the end of your shift. We also received a base wage that was equivalent to the state minimum wage at the time.

Based on my experiences working everywhere from small chaim restaraunts in mill towns to hipster bars in metropolitan areas, that 5-10% was pretty accurate.

However, there were usually one or two anomalies every shift that meant you’d clear an overall net closer to 20% for the day.

The smart ones budgeted around a 0% take home and treated their tips as a supplement, the rest of us lived together so rent was cheap enough we could still waste our money on drinking and partying after shift.
